April Showers

-bring May flowers.  And now, thanks to my hubby, I have my own, nifty potting station. Isn't is neat?
I'm really beginning to think there is nothing that Cody can not do. Seriously. Take this project for example. I sort of scribbled down some ideas of what I wanted and he designs something even better. It probably helps that he is an engineer and has way more vision than I ever will. Well, he may have the "vision", but I have the creativity; so I think were equally matched. Basically, I love that our talents compliment each other and we enjoy tackling projects while having fun completing them.

Lately, I have been amazed and so grateful for the courage and strength that I have seen in myself. I feel as though I can conquer any task and accept whatever challenge, both mentally and physically, with a new perspective and, more importantly, grace. It is my hope that I will continue to develop a relationship with the Lord and allow him to rid any fear, doubt, or disappointment that I may have; and I have them. Everyday, He reminds me to look for the blessings he has provided and an opportunity to do good for someone in need. What a great Lord we serve indeed.

Christmas Tree Ornament?

I may be a tad bias, but isn't this the most handsome butterfly? I just love those tiny wings.
 I would like to give a big thanks to Faith Preschool Academy for creating these lovable mementos with Charleston. I will cherish these precious tokens forever. Now I understand why our childhood Christmas tree was always decorated with construction paper crafts. I'll just tuck this little guy away until tree decorating time rolls around.

Country Chic Wedding

Seriously, isn't this lady gorgeous? It makes me sick to think of all the talents this girl has and soon she can add fabulous bride to her list. I am so excited for Rebecca's upcoming nuptials to Brandon and even more giddy that I get to be present for all of the wedding events. Rebecca, you will look stunning in your dress and I will personally make sure that all of your wedding decor is just as you envision. You can call me Jessica Bunyard, event planner and coordinator. Hehe!

Long Awaited Proposal

I am so happy to announce the engagement of one of my dearest friends, Kayla. I have been anticipating this news since our friendship began four years ago. This is a long awaited event and I know she must be over the moon with joy and excitement. Kayla, Nathan is a great guy and you are blessed to share a strong friendship and I pray an even stronger marriage. I am so looking forward to your wedding festivities this year. Oh, and if your in the market for a ring bearer, I happen to know a very adorable little boy!

Jasper and Ruby

Sometimes I find myself in awe of the love that my family receives from these two furry blessings. Their love is unconditional and nonjudgmental and they are always waiting at the door to welcome us home. As I was never allowed a dog as a child, I now cherish my days with Jasper and Ruby and the joy they bring to my life. I am amazed at the healing a four-legged friend can give. Sometimes their wet puppy kisses are the best medicine.

Maroon Fridays

Fridays bring big smiles to the Bunyard house. Like most of the general population, we look forward to Saturday and Sunday all week long and we are quick to celebrate when it arrives. I love that Cody is carrying on the tradition of Maroon Friday, a custom of MSU, with Charleston. Luckily for both of these handsome guys, the color maroon suits them well.
