Happy Anniversary to Us!

When I was a kid, I was obsessed with getting married. Weird, yes I know. I couldn’t wait to find “my groom or husband or whatever he was called. I just wanted a big white wedding, a horse and carriage, and a handsome man waiting at the end of the aisle. Well my wedding obsession was increased by 100 with the release of the movie My Best Friends Wedding. Loved it then, love it now. Anyway, I would dance around my room with a homemade bouquet singing the opening scene of the movie; which included a bride and her maids “Wishing and Hoping”. Check it out.

Well anyways, all my wishing and hoping must have worked because I found my blonde hair, blue eyed groom. A year ago tomorrow, I walked down the aisle to a very handsome man. He is a great friend, but an even better husband. When I count my blessings, I count him twice. Cody, I thank you for loving me.

So in honor of the day, here are a few pictures of the fabulous day. It was such an awesome day, and I am still hearing stories of how much fun our guests had. My ten year old self would have been proud.

Bahama Mama

Hello. First- I will start off by saying that I apologize for my lack of blogs...

Next..

It is sad to say that the summer is coming to an end. Boo. But I can say that I thoroughly enjoyed
it! One major highlight was our cruise to the Bahamas! Oh it was fabulous! (As you can imagine)
Cody and I loaded the car up and ventured across three states to Jacksonville, Florida. After twelve hours, one hotel stop, and a three hour delay to board the boat, we finally stepped on to the Carnival Fascination. Whew! Our travels were successful and we spent the next four days sailing away to paradise. Check out a few of our pics.

I say we explore a tropical country every year!
