And I thought my life was hectic... Pfff!

Yea right! Life has funny ways of putting you in check...Usually when you need it the most.

The other night after dinner, Cody and I were lazily watching TV. When along comes this show on TLC (my most favorite channel) about Casey and Ethan Jones. No big deal. Well this cute as can be couple decided to have one baby and ended up with FIVE! Five babies! Aghh!

Anyway, the show went on to show their day to day activities. Cost. Lack of sleep. Stress. I'm sure you get the picture. 5 newborns, 5x the work!

It was a great show and completely warmed my heart. This family has many blessings to be thankful for. It also opened my eyes to how easy and carefree my life is. I have things pretty good right now. Something I often take for granted.

Small things that make me Smile

Well I am excited to have received my very first blog award from a wonderful lady, also known as Mrs. Magnolia, Lindsey. I always enjoy reading your blogs and this is a great first award because I can share what makes me happy! Even though there are plenty more, but I'll just stick with ten.

10 things that are making me smile right now. : )

1. Candles

I looove Candles! I don't know when my obsession with candles started, but It is getting bad. Everywhere I go, I have to stop and check out their selection of candles.( I think its because I have a house of my own, and I don't have to worry about burning down my parents house!) Anyways my new fav is
Good Air™ Odor Eliminating Wrapped Votive Candle Sampler Votive Candle. It is only a dollar and its smells, well, Just plain clean.


2. Jasper Treats

Well one of my nearest and dearest is my puppy Jasper. He brings joy to our home and I smile to my face! I just love him. So one thing that makes me happy, is making him happy. I have found the cutest groomer/bakery in Southaven called Groomingdales. Well Groomingdales sells the cutest puppy treats ever! And they are all yummy and healthy snacks. It makes me smile to give Jasper a sweet treat.



3. Boutiques

Now that I have a free summer, I now have to time to shop! And I love to shop! (Which could count as one of my ten) However, I am over all the same ole places around here; Boutiques are now the place where to go! We actually have quite a few around the Southaven and Hernando area and they are stocked with wonderful goodies. I have to limit my visits so Cody doesn't get suspicious.. : )

4. McDonald's Snack Wraps

I am addicted! I love to stop by Mickey D's and pick up a Crispy Chicken w/ Honey Mustard dressing snack wrap. Yum, Yum. It is probably not the best thing to eat, but definitely not the worst. I highly recommend trying one.


5. Wall Clock

I finally found a clock for our living room. It is a wall applique clock with roman numerals. Its pretty cool. We added some individuality to it by adding the words, Mississippi Established 1817

6. Twilight
Yes, it is sad to admit, but I joined the Twilight phenomenon. I read one book and got hooked.
However, I am NOT planning on biting anyone anytime soon and I am not obsessed with people of the night. Just to make that clear. But I am in love with dreamy Edward Cullen. Twilight Eclipse comes out June 30th!




7. Say Yes to the Dress

I love weddings! Even though my wedding planning days have come and passed, I still get giddy watching wedding shows. And Cody and I will be celebrating our one year anniversary very soon, so I'm having a small case of wedding fever. (Plus, I have lots of extra time to watch TV now.) Say Yes to the Dress on TLC is a fabulous show featuring the bridal store Kleinfields. Check it Out!



8. Cruise

After one hectic year, Cody and I have decided to FINALLY take some time for ourselves and head to the tropics! Yes its true. In less than a month, we will be sailing away to the Bahamas. So the thought of beaches, snorkeling, and NO Mississippi humidity makes me smile!



9. Zumba Class

Whew, that class is crazy! When I make it there, I always have a good time. It is nice to know that others are just as uncoordinated than I am. Plus there is usually some poor man, whose wife dragged him to some class, who was completely clueless as to what he would be doing. Needless to say, it can be funny. ZUMBA!!!

10. Starbucks

I loved to stop by Starbucks and get an iced coffee and a sweet treat. Yum, Yum!
