Southern Decor Blog

I've been keeping this blog to myself, but I guess I'll share with my dear friends. I absolutely love this blogger's taste. It is so Southern and eloquent.  This screened porch, for example, is absolutely dreamy! I definitely plan to attempt some of her DIY projects this summer. Check it out!

A Sweet Prayer

A Marriage Blessing
We thank You, O God, for the love You have implanted in our hearts.
May it always inspire us to be kind in our words, considerate of feelings, and concerned for each others needs and wishes.
Help us to be understanding and forgiving of human weaknesses and failings.
Increase our faith and trust in You and may Your prudence guide our life and love.
Bless our marriage, O God, with peace and happiness, and make our Love fruitful for Your glory and our joy both here and in eternity.

Tying the Knot

Another sweet couple, who happens to be dear to our hearts, recently exchanged vows and rings and entered the joy of matrimony. Despite the looming rain and tornado warnings, they pulled of a beautiful ceremony and reception that was held at the ever inspiring Brooks Museum. It was so uplifting to be in a room of smiling, familiar faces who truly believe in the sanctity of marriage. My cup was full of laughter and spirits that evening and I hope Jessica and John have wonderful memories of their joyous day. Congratulations to you both and may many years and children find you.

Boston Bunyard

From the bottom of my heart, I would like to sincerely thank each of you for your purchases of the Boston shirt, donations, and general support in the March of Dimes. I was completely overwhelmed by the number of shirts we sold and my soul is lifted every time I see someone sporting that sweet, powder blue shirt. I am continually reminded how special my son is and I am truly honored that God chose me and Cody to be his parents. He has such a tender, heartwarming presence and I am blessed to have him cheering me on throughout this life and journey. Thanks is such a diminutive word for the love you have shown my family, but we are so thankful for all of you.

I would also like to add that Boston's team raised $325.00 to donate to the March of Dimes. How amazing!
