Dog Days

A fellow blogger asked me to keep her posted on Jasper's happenings. Ha!!

Let's just say he has a pretty nice life. I'll make an effort to post more pictures of our furry friend.

Maroon Magnolias

With tailgating season approaching, I have been dreading the desperate search for cute maroon dresses. Since my dear sweet husband is a die hard MSU fan and alumni, I spend a good amount of time in Starkville this time of year. Now don't get me wrong, I enjoy football season just as much as the next person, but I do NOT enjoy the frantic search for the perfect tailgate dress. And let me tell you, maroon dressed are not easy to find. And it's not only dresses that are MIA, but anything maroon in general. So this year, I decided put my sewing machine to the test and make two or three dresses myself. My size. My style. My sassiness.

Many stitches and yards of fabrics later, here is the finished product. I think they look pretty good, If I say so myself. Bring on the tailgating!

Blue 42 Hut Hut

OH yea, I know the facts (some of them) about football. Thanks to the MSU Women's Football camp that my dear friend, Kayla and I attended last month. I have been looking forward to this camp ever since last season-honestly. The days are gone where I am left questioning why the ref is throwing flags on the field, wondering why they continue to pass the ball EVERY play, and just what those funny names for plays mean..

After a day of being schooled on offense, defense, and basic rules of the game, I feel pretty confident going into football season. I think I might even pay attention during the game. Hehe

So here are a few pictures of the day. I would have to admit the camp was worth every penny and I thoroughly enjoyed myself. Plus, It was a pleasure getting to know all the coaches that my dear sweet husband is always talking about. Is he jealous you ask? Of course! What fan wouldn't want to spend a day in the locker room, workout room, one on one training with the coaches, and experiencing the thrill of running out on the field to the best montage of past season clips and PUMP YOU UP music?!

With all that said, I'm looking forward to cooler weather and attending a few football games. Thanks to Dan and Megan Mullen for allowing us to make our husbands jealous!

Watch Kayla's video below!

Kayla VS Dummy. If you know Kayla personally, this video is so much more entertaining. I'd hate to play offensive against her! Haha!

Welcome to the World!!

Finally!! I am officially an Aunt! Hooray! Pashby Collins Reed made her debut August 1, 2011- 7 pounds and 4 ounces. Of course she took after her mother, and was fashionably late, a week late as a matter of fact. But she was well worth the wait. I think I speak for everyone in our family when I say we are overjoyed to have her in our life. I have already sewed up an Oh Sew Cute outfit and there will be many more to come!

Kacey and Ashley are doing great. I know they will be fantastic parents to Miss Pashby.
