Welcome to the World Cash Privett!

We are so thrilled for our dear friends, Ashley and Eddie, on the the arrival of their first child, Cash Brooks Privett. God's timing is perfect and sharing my pregnancy with Ashley was exactly what I needed to keep my fears and anxieties at bay. It is so strange to think that at this same time last year, we were both praying for a child; now our sons are here. God is so good! I can only imagine the future adventures and troubles that Charleston and Cash will have together and the thought of their friendship makes me smile.

Candy Grams

Don't be too surprised if you receive one of these precious happies from me in the upcoming month. I am a sucker for cheesiness, and, well, this is about as cheesy as it comes. Thank you Pinterest for a good laugh and fun gift idea for all of my Valentines.

Good Tidings

It always makes me so sad when I have to take down all of the beautiful and special Christmas cards Cody and I receive each year. I feel that it such a waste of precious pictures, uplifting messages, and, well, loved one's hard work. Let's be honest, some people put in some serious hours making sure their cards are perfect. So with that said, I decided to punch a hole in the corner, loop them through a binder clip, and display them year round. Now I can continue on guilt free while also having something positive to read to Charleston during those 2:00 am feedings. Win. Win.

Unfortunately....

I need this cup. In the 27 years of my existence, I have never drank as much coffee as I have in the last six weeks. Honestly. I have hopped on the caffeine train and I have no regrets. I'm beginning to understand why my parents always started their day with a cup of Joe.#Ihaveanewborn

Be Mine

Valentines Day is just around the corner and our handsome Charleston is ready for whichever lucky lady he chooses to be his date- his mama has to approve, of course . As you can see, he has his outfit picked out and seems to agree with the"three-piece suit", sweater vest and all. Isn't he handsome?!

This is the face he gave when I told him I will have to chaperon....Oh, boy.

Just add a little suds

Charleston was not a fan of bath time in the beginning, but he seems to be warming up to it now. I think his favorite part is when it is over and he gets wrapped up in the soft baby robe. He seems pretty content here, wouldn't you agree?

It's been a month already..

and still the baby manual has not arrived in the mail. Good thing we are figuring out this parenting thing, pretty well, if I might add. I am amazed at how much they change in just four short weeks!

New Year Blues

Does anyone else miss their Christmas tree? It seems that by December 30th or so, the tree is starting to take up space and seem less appealing than it did several weeks before-If I am just being honest. However, last year's tree was so beautiful and special that now I am having slight "tree withdraws". I will never forget bringing Charleston home from the hospital to his first Christmas tree. Tear.

Maybe next year I'll be one of those people who keep their tree up until Valentines Day. :/

Happy Birthday, Charleston!

He is here! Our Christmas blessing is here and we are loving every second with this precious boy! On December 16, at 8:07 pm, our sweet Charleston Grey Bunyard entered the world. After 38 weeks of pregnancy and 12 hours of labor, the moment of his birth was truly a miracle and worth every second of his long awaited arrival. He is absolutely perfect and Cody and I are so honored that we were chosen to be his parents. God is so good!
