Summer at the Movies

I was so sad to see the series, Summer at the Movies, end at Life Fellowship this weekend. It was a great four weeks of movies, messages, and wow moments for me. I am continuously amazed at the talent that I witness each service. During the full hours, or so, I am completely captivated by the the message and feel as if the pastor is speaking to directly to me. It is so such a personal experience and I am rejuvenated when leaving. This past service was no different. Great job Pastor Micheal.
What I took away from his message:  Don't run from your burden, run to your burden.
Boy, did I need to hear that. Just because no one has made it matter, doesn't mean it doesn't matter. Amen.

Thank you Lord for guiding me to a place rich in faith, fellowship, and friends. You heard my cry, saw my need, and answered my pray.

Princess Ruby

On a recent afternoon, I noticed that our sweet Ruby Rue had slipped out of sight and seemed to be unusually quiet. I quickly assumed she was up to no good and began checking her typical hiding spots. However, It didn't take long for me to find my four-legged friend. It seemed that Ruby needed a nap and helped herself to the bed, covers and all. This is how I found her. Despite the freshly made bed, she was just to cute to bother.

Have a little faith

I have really been blessed to have recently been invited and welcomed to a church that I can't say enough good things about, Life Fellowship Church in Southaven. I have always struggled to find a church home, or even just a church that I felt connected too, until now. After a bout of dark days, I simply asked the Lord to send me some guidance and place of sanctuary- and He did.
Each week, I am so impressed with the time, effort, and preparation that goes into each service. More importantly, I can relate each message back to my own life and I begin the week with a full heart and recharged battery. It is quite an amazing feeling.
And as for the scripture, it is always food for my soul. This past Sunday's scripture was exactly what I needed to hear and I am so thankful to have such a wise and loving God.

Galatians 6:9 "So let's not get tired of doing what is good. At just the right time we will reap a harvest of blessing if we don't give up." (NLT)

Here is the Video Message from Sunday. If your needing some perseverance in your life, this is totally for you, or if you just need a reminder that all things are possible through Christ.  Thanks Patrick for a great message!
